IT WAS SURE ONE WET TIRING LONG WEEK
SECONDARY THREE ADVENTURE CAMP!
It was fun fun and more fun!
Whee!
Beside the horrible weather, it was just sheer mud dirt and sweat.
Haha.
I DEMAND A RE-CAMP!
Day one
I had to carry my extremely heavy haversack to school
Almost dislocated my shoulder I think.
Haha.
THREEONE WENT DRAGON-BOATING!
I WANT TO GO AND DRAGONBOAT AGAIN!
Dragon-boating gives you muscles man.
My arms hurt from all the rowing of the paddle.
The instructor taught our boat to splash water at the other team
And we were SO WET
I WAS COMPLETELY DRENCHED, HEAD TO TOE.
Then we had a dragon-boat race
OUR BOAT WON!
YIPPPPEEEE.
GO TOLIET! GO TOLIET! GO TOLIET!
(Inside joke)
Next we learnt the different campfire songs
like the cute frog song with actions
and THE FRIENDSHIP DANCE!
As we walked to the left
As we walked to the right
As we walked as we walked as wee walked all night
With a heel and a toe with a half-turn around
With a heel and a toe and a new friend found
Wahoo!
The amazing race was next.
We formed groups of nine
And went all around pasir ris park to search for clues in the form of symbols
Our group went to the big playground instead
Haha.
BISCUITS!
I THINK I KIND OF GORGED ON BISCUITS
ATE MORE THAN LIKE ONE BIG PLASTIC BAG OF BISCUITS
WHEN A PERSON IS HUNGRY
NOTHING IS TOO MUCH
HAHA.
Last but certainly not least was
THE NIGHT CONFIDENCE WALK!
It rocks!!!!!!!!
I screamed not because I’m scared but because I was shocked
I mean when you are walking in this dark place
And then suddenly a man just jumps out from under the bridge to like scare you
You would like also feel-shocked right?
Slept in my tent with four other tent mates
Alice, Jessica, Sabrina and huong
Haha.
The place was so small
There was not enough place for me to even sleep straight
Thus ending up with stiff body parts in the morning.
I WILL NEVER EVER BATH WITH A HOSE EVER AGAIN
Seriously.
It’s difficult
I had to like squat down as the hose was like too short
And by turning the hose up
I accidentally shot water up my nose and choked
And we only have like three minutes each to bathe or shower
Haha.
Day two
Went to do the rope challenges
The high elements
Middle elements
Low elements
And team rope challenge
Didn’t make it for the team rope challenge
Got stuck when climbing the swinging tires
And was exhausted
So sorry for my partner, as she also had to go down as it was a team effort course thing
Got like bruises and rope abrasions
AND SUNBURNT REALLY BADLY
I WAS LIKE A TOMATO
OR A LOBSTER
THAT RED
DAMM DIGUSTING
And suddenly there was this really heavy rain
And our tents….
WERE FLOODED
I MEAN I COULD LIKE SWIM IN IT
IT WAS BAD.
Haha.
And sleeping bag and bags were soaking wet
In the end we had to go back to school
To sleep in the hall.
Haha.
This time I just ran to the toilet
To ‘chope’ a space in the nicer showing cubicles
Haha.
Sleep then was much better
And I was happy J
Day three
Had to wake up at seven
Earlier than the others cause I had to get ready to go for the choir combined syf showcase at river valley high school
I OVERSLEPT
Had to rush like mad and rush for the toilet again
To brush my teeth and change
And rush all the way down to the performing arts room
Luckily they changed it to school
So I don’t have to wake up as early as 530
Haha.
Skipped breakfast and lunch
Came back expecting at least some food but instead all the sec 3 choir girls had to share like two packets of measly nasi lemak
Its like so little
And our stomachs were still growling
They ‘forgot’ to keep some for us.
Then it was time to break camp
They were hugs and photos taken with all the instructors
Desmond aka lily and Jocelyn aka rose
You both rock!
Haha.

And I had to still go for choir for a while
All my choirmates said that I looked like a lobster!
Humph.
Yeah. THAT RED.
THAT CONCLUDES MY THREE DAY CAMP WITHOUT MUCH DETAILS
HAHA.
DANG IT, I MISSED MISSING YOUSWEET ESCAPE.
